This website (hagailuria.art) is committed to providing an accessible and equitable experience to all visitors, including people with disabilities, in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law (1998), Accessibility Regulations (2013), and Israeli Standard 5568 based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic HTML structure with descriptive labels for all images and buttons.
  • Full keyboard navigation (Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter).
  • "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA standards.
  • Floating accessibility menu offering: text enlargement, high contrast, link highlighting, and reduced motion.
  • Full Hebrew and English support with RTL/LTR direction handling.

Known limitations

Images of paintings are visual artworks; alt text provides a verbal description, but cannot fully substitute the visual experience itself. We continually work to improve artwork descriptions.
